Meghan Markle’s efforts to shift focus from BBC interview sparks conversation

Following the BBC interview Prince Harry seems to have made a number of moves that he dubs ‘clever tactics’ to avoid dealing with the fallout directly.

The expert in question is royal author Robert Jobson and he was the one to dish on this on the Right Royal Podcast with hosts Andrea Caamano and Emmy Griffiths.

“It’s really interesting to me that we’ve had a very quick succession of positivity,” he said while highlighting the new outings and moves, namely the seven-year anniversary post, as well as the Beyoncé and James Taylor concert appearances.

Especially how “they needed” these “moments showing the couple together being happy”.

Due to that Mr Jobson even shared what he feels prompted the BBC chat and said, “It was a very knee-jerk interview and he probably regretted it” because “that interview didn’t land in the way that they had hoped.”

For those unversed, that interview included a number of jibes against the Firm, as well as comments about King Charles’ alleged insistence to stand in the way of Prince Harry’s security battle.

Thus, he believes “they have gone out and obviously created these moments or designed opportunities for them to be seen and for the story to move on. And I think that was absolutely the only thing they could have done.”
