After Duke got whistled for having two players on the field with the same number, Illinois made the Blue Devils pay. The Fighting Illini marched down the field and scored on a 4-yard pass from Luke Altmyer to Justin Bowick. That extended the lead to 21-13 on the first drive of the second half.
